About Nate
Nathan was a goofy, outgoing, adventurous kid. He loved wrestling, the outdoors, and hanging out with family and friends. Nate had the ability to make anyone laugh, and when he entered a room, his presence put a smile on everyone's faces. There was never a dull moment when he was around!
In 2008, Nate was diagnosed with a pediatric brain stem tumor, called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma, when he was a freshman at Elkhorn High School. His treatments started at Children's Hospital in Omaha, and after progression, clinical trials were done at Children's Hospitals in Los Angeles and Chicago. Nathan battled for 22 months before passing away in March 2010, at the young age of 17.
Help us help more kids like Nathan by raising money for pediatric brain cancer research, so we can find a cure for this devastating disease.
